DeleteHi! The good news is that will be installed a U.S. consulate here in the city. The head office is already being reformed to house about 100 employees. Previously, this building housed a supermarket, and I've already been there to buy something, because it was near my house. Good thing you like it here!

DeleteI'm sure it would. What's good is that once here, everything is near. An hour's drive east you are at the beaches, half an hour to the other side by car you have the mountains, an hour's flight south is Buenos Aires, an hour's flight north is Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. At the same time, not being such a big city (1.5 million population), I think it's more human than the very large cities. I'm at lunch time and will go back to work. Later I return. What do you think?

Aside from that, there is a strong theater movement here, and also film production. Only you'll have to learn Portuguese, I will not say it's easy, but I speak Portuguese and Spanish, so if you want to practice, will not be missing a teacher!
